Academy sign Dorian & Daniel
German wunderkinds Dorian and Daniel have joined Academy for UK representation.
The duo are graduates of the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg in Stuttgart. While there, they wrote and directed a now famous spec commercial for Johnnie Walker titled ‘Dear Brother’. To date the film has over 20 million views through Youtube, Vimeo and other online video outlets.
Dorian & Daniel join Academy having recently shot another popular spec ad for Volvo – the ABC of Death. It’s a strong foray into the world of comedy but whatever the genre the pair are most at home telling emotional stories with big pictures. Their work shows a comprehensive and natural understanding of their craft and maturity far beyond their years.
