Cabinet Reshuffle

Medb Riordan has been promoted to work alongside Simon Cooper as Joint Managing Director of Academy.

Medb has been at the company for 10 years, starting on reception and moving up through the ranks to work on and produce much of the company’s award winning work.  She is the perfect example of Academy’s tradition of promoting from within.

Lucy Gossage has also been promoted to become Executive Producer and Head of Production.  Lucy has been a long time producer for Si & Ad and Frederic Planchon and like Medb, has collaborated with all of the directors in her 17 years at the company.

The reshuffle sees Lizie take more of an ambassadorial role in the company she founded 34 years ago.  Of the new appointments she said, ‘I’m so proud of our home grown new management team.  It feels like we’ve assembled something of a dream team in Simon, Medb, Lucy and Head of Sales, George Floyd.  Although I’m not retiring, I am looking forward to being a little further from the coal face.  Might take up golf….’
