Campaign’s Production Company of the Year 2016

Happy New Year!  While 2016 represented a 366 day low point for humanity, the year ended on a particularly high note for Academy and A+.  In an incredibly competitive field, Academy were named by Campaign Magazine as Production Company of the Year.

This was thanks in no small part to Seb Edwards, whose Virgin Media film, ‘9.58’ was second on the list of best commercials.  This, combined with his piece for HP put Seb 5th on the directors list. No7 and HSBC campaigns by Jeff Labbe were also noted as a standout along with Google (Jonathan Glazer), Ikea (Frederic Planchon),  Paddy Power (Peter Cattaneo), O2 (Si & Ad), Lucozade (Wally Pfister), Birds Eye (Marcus Soderlund) and Glenfiddich (Ben Tricklebank).
